critique:
We had 3 different critique sessions. Personally I was fine with getting the critiques, but what bothered me was what I would get in the feedback. All I got was fixing some grammar mistakes. Nothing really helping the actual story line. When Betsey came and critiqued mine, she did say about grammar but she mostly focused on the my story and where it was heading. This critiqued helped me by far the most.
The 3rd draft critique was more focused on to protocol to the right. We followed all of the steps for each group member. The Strangest part was hearing my group have a discussion about my work without including me. It was good feedback of course with them filling out the form and answering questions. I did like this critique process but the one for draft one and two were much better in my opinion. I found it helpful for the audience listening to my story writing on my script and also giving me feedback at the end. The process worked better. I would have enjoyed critique 3 if it was a little bit shorter and if the writer can chime into the discussion. |
