the absolutely true audio diary podcast
INtroduction |
In the hackathon we created a podcast from a characters view. For example I got the character of coach, I took all of the chapters coach was in and created an audio diary for him. It deepened out understand because writing from a charters perspective we had to show what they're emotions are. I learned that making a podcast you need to be able to tell a story, even if it's not yours. You need to be able to grab the listeners and pull them in to listen longer.

I filled out the following part: Chapters where this character appears, physical appearance, useful dialogue from the, other characters who could make an appearance, possible locations for recording. So almost all except two sections. Most of it made it into our final audio diary, or at least in thought of putting it in. I wish we included how he looked like. It was just him talking the whole time about what he sees.

For writing the script, I sat down and read the first chapter coach is in and re-read it many times to make sure I didn't miss any big detail in the chapter. After I finished the script for my group, in class we chose who will be the voice of coach and junior in our group. Honestly I did the majority of the script writing. The ones my group mates wrote I told them to. Although my group mates did do the voice for our podcast. As we worked on the, some of the words changed when we recorded the
