Why i'm passionate:
Being a young woman interested in the STEM fields is tough. Some may say you can't do it because you don't have what is takes, it is too much school, do a job that a women is suppose to do and so on. What if me, a female, wants to become a architectural engineer? A biologist? Or even wants to work at NASA? The mind set that every women hoping to pursue in the field has to be strong to not listen to those telling them they can't make it, especially because they are female. A women of influence can be any woman who is strong, passionate, and proud of what they do. They send good messages and become a great role model to those little girls who aspire to become what the influences are. Being a junior in high school already so passionate about STEM is difficult, but it's not impossible. The boundaries of unfair pay, inequality, and even sexist people won't stop me for pursuing my dream job. My goal for my zine is to share that a woman is able to acquire any job and make an impact, just like men can.
