event logistics
Being in the production group of Event Logistics I’d say was the toughest one of all. We were in charge of making sure the event ran smoothly and when anyone had a problem or a question, they’d come to us. Specifically, I worked on both schedules for FdS and the final zine fest, the layout and helping the rest of my group mates with their tasks. It was kind of difficult being the point person because when I needed something to be done fast and it wasn’t I’d get frustrated and try to do everything myself. I know that I needed to step back and have people help but when I have a vision in my mind I wish to pursue that to the best that I can. One thing I would do differently if I had the chance to do this again would be changing the location to a place that is more visible to the public and possible not at a church. The reason for that is because we felt like the reason we didn’t have as much visitors was because of the lack of promotion of our event as well as it was not on the main street. Many zine artist chose not to present because of their style art and not feeling like it’s the right place to present inside of a church.
